As colleges and universities around the country plan their return to campus for the 2020-21 academic year,  the FHC has worked diligently to create resources to prepare our collegiate women and staff members for a safe and healthy fall term. The culmination of this effort has materialized into the Safe on Purpose Campaign. Inspired by the Alpha Gamma Delta Purpose, this campaign encourages members to recognize that part of their Purpose as women of Alpha Gamma Delta is to prioritize the wellbeing of themselves and their sisters.

The first resource is the Safe on Purpose Safety Guide, which has been distributed to chapter officers to review and to use to determine what precautions their chapter will take this fall. The guide provides three levels of safety protocol, safe, safer and safest options, for all aspects of a chapter facility, from entrances to bathrooms and from the guest policy to the dining area.

Using the Safe on Purpose Guide, Executive Council will complete and approve a Community Agreement, outlining what level of precaution their chapter will take for each aspect of their chapter facility.

To hold members accountable to prioritizing the health and safety of their sisters, each member will be asked to sign our Safe on Purpose Pledge, committing to follow all new guidelines and protocols outlined by their chapter.
