BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Mary Beth has her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. A dedicated, life-long volunteer, Mary Beth has served as the Philanthropy Chairman, Permanent Secretary, Editor, Treasurer, Vice President and President of the Alpha Gamma Delta Detroit North Suburban Alumnae Club in addition to Province Director – Alumnae, Area Coordinator – Alumnae, Director of Alumnae Operations, Director of Chapter Development and International Vice-President Alumnae. Mary Beth enjoys volunteering in her local community, cycling, yoga and Pilates. She loves to travel with her husband, Jim, a management consultant, and is currently learning Italian in order to become a dual-Italian citizen. Mary Beth and Jim have three adult children and two adorable granddogs.

Mary Kate has her Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from WPI and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Mary Kate has held Boston-area project management roles in engineering, construction, and real estate investment and is currently the Director of Real Estate & Transportation Development for RND Consultants, a woman-owned firm. Since graduating, Mary Kate has served Alpha Gamma Delta internationally via VST on the Philanthropy Committee and Chapter Development Team and previously at the local level as a ZZ executive advisor and officer of the Greater Boston Alumnae Chapter. Mary Kate and her husband Tom have a young son and two dogs. Mary Kate has been to more seasons of Boston College football than years alive, believes form and function value equally, and loves exploring by walking.

Catherine Matthews has a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in English, a law degree from Indiana University Mauer School of Law and a PhD in Philosophy from Indiana University. Catherine has worked in higher education for the last 13 years and currently works for Indiana University as a senior consultant in talent and development. In addition to serving on the FHC board, Catherine is also the International Vice President – Education. Her prior volunteer roles include serving as Chapter Advisor, Province Director, Education Committee Member and Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation Trustee. Catherine is a proud Tennessean, “Bama” fan, cat enthusiast, lover of all things old and historic and a passionate developer of people.

Caroline has worked in several corporate finance roles for both SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and The Home Depot in Greater Atlanta since receiving her Bachelor of Science in Management, Finance. Caroline has been at Home Depot Corporate for over seven years and currently serves as the Director – Merchandising Finance. Caroline has a history of volunteerism with Alpha Gamma Delta both on a local and international level serving as Recruitment and Campus Relations Advisor for Gamma Phi Chapter and with new chapters as part of the Volunteer Service Team. Caroline loves to travel, spend time with friends and family, read on her porch and explore Atlanta’s food scene.
